Geared Drives FWF Engine Package for
Legendary P-51
Featuring the Geared Drives PSRU, this engine package was designed specifically for the FEW (Legendary) P-51 airframe. Powered by Chevrolet LS1 engine, this engine utilizes a custom set of headers designed to keep as much of the authentic look as possible by bringing the four exhaust ports off each cylinder head into a baffled collector, then bringing the six exhaust pipes out of the collector. This effectively lengthens the exhaust and improves back pressure.

Belly radiators are not very effective for taxiing, so we added a radiator behind the engine that will assist in taxi cooling.

All aluminum water cooled Chevrolet LS1 engine with
altitude compensating electronic fuel injection.
Spur gear propeller speed reduction unit
with fully automatic centrifugal clutch and flywheel assembly. Ships already assembled and
test run for bolt on application to Legendary P-51 firewall.
Custom programmed ECM and wiring harness.
You add your own prop governor, prop, fuel pumps, and fuel
regulator/filter.
