Behind the Firewall Engine Package for Velocity
Geared Drives recently completed a complete engine package for our first pusher customer, Erik Franks, in California and we are anxiously awaiting reports from Erik on the installation and his first flight! He has graciously allowed us to mention his name and to post photos of his engine package on our site.

The photos below were taken as we prepared to remove the engine from the stand for shipping, which is why the coolant overflow tank is taped to the engine mount.
Description:
All aluminum water cooled Chevrolet LS1 engine with
altitude compensating electronic fuel injection.
Spur gear propeller speed reduction unit
with fully automatic centrifugal clutch and flywheel assembly. Ships already assembled and
test run for bolt on application to Foxtrot firewall.
Custom programmed ECM and wiring harness.
You add your own prop governor, prop, fuel pumps, and fuel
regulator/filter.
NEW! We have developed a new dry sump system for the LS1 engine that allows the use of a larger radiator for more engine cooling capacity.
